How long can I expect to participate in the treatment process?

The length of treatment is individualized and variable and is dependent upon the severity of the presenting problem and the person’s motivation to work on treatment goals. In general, clients can spend anywhere from one (1) month to nine (9) months in the full continuum of services. Magnolia Center utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment. A Licensed Addictions Counselor provides clinical supervision and oversight to all related staff and clinical services. A Psychiatrist, Primary Care Physician\Extender and Registered Nurse are integrated into the team through contract or consultation. Integrated health care is incorporated within the Person-Centered Plan and in coordination with the medical services and wellness department.

Magnolia Center is a premier behavioral health and wellness program provider that utilizes practices and approaches that are scientifically proven to produce effective results. Our team members hold an average of 23 years’ experience of professional practice. Our culture is person centered-we meet people where they are and seek to guide them towards the goals that they desire. We are outcomes driven, meaning that we measure our results across the domains of satisfaction, effectiveness and efficiency-we strive to do our best and to continue to improve upon our efforts.

Research has consistently revealed that a strong support system is essential for people to find sustainable and restorative recovery. We highly recommend that a family member, significant other and\or a supportive friend participate in the recovery process. Our team is sensitive to the needs of family members and to the stress that accompanies a motivational crisis. We will work collaboratively to design the most effective program for each individual and supportive member of the client’s support network.

The first visit prioritizes the potential helping relationship that can evolve as we get to know your story. There are some preliminary items we address either through the pre-admission process (online form submission, phone screening etc…), but ultimately, we want to hear your concerns, fears, desires and hopes-all in the context of learning your story. Conversations are a two-way street, so we want you to get to know us as well. We will share our professional credentials, our competencies and skill sets and most importantly, our passion for serving people who seek hope, healing and recovery! We consider it a noble privilege to enter into the sacred territory of a person’s story and we will do everything we can to make your first and ongoing visits feel safe, respectful and fulfilling.

Group therapy is the process of knowing others, learning insights and being known. Our groups are governed by the rules of safety, respect and confidentiality. We will never do or allow anything to occur that will embarrass you. Instead, you will find a small community of other people working towards recovery and wellness, where strength, comradery and synergy can be maximized to evoke your fullest potential.

Not necessarily. Medications prescribed by a licensed physician or physician extender is something that should never be discontinued without consulting your medical provider. Magnolia Center will work with your medical provider to assure that an integrated care approach is utilized to help guide you to a full recovery.

That depends upon your goals and the circumstances that you are under as you pursue these goals. Some people are mandated by outside regulatory or legal authorities to remain abstinent through their time in a recovery program. Other motivating factors include health or family mandates. Our programs are primarily geared towards abstinence. However, we will work with you through a specific track if you are still exploring whether to quit or are attempting to control your consumption of alcohol or drugs. We just ask that when you come to your appointments, that you be abstinent and coherent for the scheduled sessions.

Addiction is a disease that includes the potential for relapse. Our team is comprised of highly experienced, relapse prevention\intervention professionals. We work diligently to help you become aware of relapse warning signs and effective coping strategies BEFORE a relapse occurs. However, there is no shame in a relapse if lessons can be learned and applied. We will work with you and your family to get you back on track and moving toward your goals and desires.

Magnolia Center’s highly effective and quality driven services are priced completely within the private sector market. We utilize third party insurance rates to help shape our fees so that we can meet the needs of as many people as possible while keeping our services at a superior level of effectiveness and satisfaction. We provide you with the cost of your first visit prior to your appointment and will work with you to help with cost sharing, cost resourcing and cost deferment wherever we can. A fee schedule will be provided at your first appointment to help you determine all aspects of your decision-making and planning.
