Abby Foster is a member of the Clinical Team at Magnolia Center as well as the Business Development Coordinator. Mrs. Foster is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Abby graduated with honors earning her Master Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. She seeks to bring all elements of the recovery continuum together in a coordinated effort to address addiction from a chronic health perspective. She strives to provide tools to sustain recovery and restore wellness through engagement, education, and bridging the mind and body connection. She works with young adults, individuals, and families, providing therapeutic support and focusing on meeting the client right where they are on the road to recovery. She has received training in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and Acudetox. Abby is a champion for the individuals and families she serves. With a demonstrated history as a Recovery Advocate, she has dedicated her life to stand for those not yet able to stand for themselves.

Abby wants to live in a world filled with books that come bundled with sea-salt caramels, bottomless cups of coffee that never go cold, and days with enough time to catch up with close friends and check all the boxes on the To-Do lists.  Abby loves being a mother to her incredible son and two amazing bonus children. She and her husband enjoy traveling, adventuring, listening to live music, and being of service to others.  Abby’s cultivation of her own mindfulness practice, journey of recover and healing, and lived experience inspired her passion to help others to attain their own restoration and wellness.
